Achieve success first, then be happy / or be happy first, then achieve success?

Trying to achieve success might bring happiness in the long run (but not always). 

Doing the things that make us happier actuality has more chances to help us achieve success.

What does success really look like?

I believe that’s different depending on the stage of life where we are in. It is deeply influenced by our surroundings, upbringing and family. Often times when we finally achieve what we wanted so badly we realise there is some new sense of emptiness, so what really success look like then? During high school and the University, success meant going to a top university, being ahead of everybody else and achieving finding a well paid job, buying a house, and to everybody’s eyes, that person was successful.  I did that. The top University, the engineering, not the job I skipped that, the living overseas, the buying a property and working very hard. Once that was done, it felt good, but what really means success in life? I did all of that to achieve recognition and status.  Now I believe I have a new better idea of what success look like, however, I now encounter a new challenge, the drive to do everything it takes is not there. People’s money is people’s feedback

That’s the way to know if what we create is actually valued.  I find it difficult to price a service that I enjoy and feel happy to give for free, the problem is that people don’t value free things.  Having a great service that has the power to change lives for good requires the leverage of money to grow and be recognised as valuable.
