Improving students motivation by recording/ saving efficiently their work through the years creating a CAREER FOLDER

Students lose motivation because every time the year begins, or the new semester we completely forget about what happened in the previous one.

I believe one way to highly strengthen students career is by helping students somehow NOT JUST recording their grades, which alone don't say much because they have been given in a subjective way for a teacher and also it varies from one institution to another. For example, 60 out of a 100 would be not a good grade for an easy class, but maybe 60 out of a 100 would be a good result if it was with a very tough teacher where most students usually fail the subject. Therefore, grades alone don't really say much and are not necessarily a reflection of the student's performance.

What would be really useful, is if students could create and update their CAREER FOLDER with their art, projects, videos, presentations, articles, as they do it year by year during the school, and continuing it during the UNIVERSITY. Students should have total autonomy over it to keep it personal, or share it if they wish.

One of the main problems students have is that they create projects for their studies, they do it once and that's it, it gets totally forgotten. How different it would be if those students would have a clear nice way of saving everything and even showing it /sharing it to others, feeling proud for what they made, and therefore consolidating those learnings.

It would help very much because:

- Students feel a lot better when they feel they create something.
- They would feel encouraged to show it to others (feeling proud of their creation).
- They would enhance that learning of the topics involved as they appreciate and watch their creation.
- It would help as a tool for self awareness, self reflection when the time comes to find what career to study, what we enjoy more doing, what we are good at, and the proof would be there, so it would be a great tool to direct the career in the best directions.
- It creates a complete profile useful for hiring purposes and finding the right staff.
- Students would feel more responsible for what they do. It's real and they can show it to other people, sure they would put some more effort if they see it can actually be useful for something (the final objective becomes now not in obtaining a grade but on creating something of value, that makes a huge difference for a student).
