To win high performance soccer games

BEFORE STARTING

Arriving early
Warming up well (arriving running to the place for 15 min)
Using ankle support (or any support if you have an injury)
Using shoes with ankle support, and for running (probably that helps)

Not eating in the 3 or 4 hours before playing (because your muscles will contract and tighten during the game so the food will try to go up through your troath and possibly wanting to vomit, also because the stomach wil be using energy of the body for digestion. Digestion in the stomach takes between 4-6 horas depending on the food and it is s done better while resting or just walking).

Having done poo and pee that day before the game so you don't carry unnecessary weight and the body is more smooth.

Hidrate well in the hours before the game.

Help the goalkeeper warm up, that's the player who is not running during the game, therefore the most likely to make costly mistakes in the beginning of the game.

Provide a message of encouragement to team members 3 or 4 hours before the game so they start getting their minds on it and BELIEVE that the team can win but we need to put the effort to be at our best in that moment.

ON THE COURT

Start on the court always by pushing and doing pressure, they will make mistakes and that's when we need to score.

Cover one on one, if a player just passed you, that player is still your responsibility and you need to follow him so he doesn't score later after a few passes.

Make sure there is someone available in the middle to receive the ball.

When trying to take the ball from them, be careful not to let them pass you completely. Wait for it a little bit in case they want to increase the speed and pass you so you can follow.

If you are the last man and have ONE opponent coming with the ball to score, run in direction to our goal keeper waiting for the opponent for as long as you can (because other team members will be running to support you so you need to help gain time) and don't let him pass you. Narrow his space to kick the ball (and don't let him pass you) even if he kicks it shouldn't be goal if the goal keeper is in the right position.

If you are the last man and have TWO opponents coming do the same trying to 1) don't let the opponent pass the ball to the second player, and 2) don't let him pass you. Same, at some point that player will have to kick the ball (don't let him pass the ball and don't let him pass you)  it shouldn't be goal if you narrow his space to kick  and our goal keeper is in the right position. Keep in mind that if we allow that player to pass the ball to the second one, their chances for goal are very high that's why we dont let that player pass the ball. And of course our other team members must be quick to run back and support our last man in the defense.

Well done with good measured passes.

Be attentive to play quickly and get in position to kick when there are faults in our favor.

Be attentive to stop the other team players from playing quickly after faults are in their favor.

One on One mark. When the other team is attacking, we need to be only one man marking the one who has the ball. When we are two marking the same player, it means one or more members of their team are free and it gives them more chances to score.

Be careful not to make unnecessary faults in the penalty area.

If you are the last man and have the ball, there was no one in the middle to receive the ball, you are now facing our goal keeper and have one or two opponents behind you, PLEASE don't lose the ball, and don't compromise the goal keeper, in that case 1) hold it tigh going closer to the side band line so the ball has more chances to go out of the court, also it will be fault if they get the ball from behind you, please don't play right in front of our net goal, otherwise the chances are high to lose the ball and get a goal scored against us. 2) Other team members go to support and stand between the goal keeper and the ball, find the way to send the ball up without compromising our goal keeper.

For our goal keeper. It is a lot better to kick the ball out of the court than risking getting a goal against.

For our team members. We need to quickly be in position again, the other team will try to play quick, so please don't just walk on the court in that moment.

Use tactic when goal keeper sends ball up with the hand. If there are two of our players up, then they shouldn't be at the same "high", one should be closer to hit ball with the head and pass it ahead to other player, and the second one further to try to put the ball on the floor for the other player who is running. The goalkeeper needs to decide which one is going to throw the ball to, not in the middle, otherwise it is probably going to be lost. Those two players should be switching positions to clear more opportunities for spaces.

HIGH CONVICTION!

Going with everything you have! When the ball is on your legs and it's a clear opportunity to score. LEGS MUST BE STRONG in that exactly moment, either to get in the right position or to kick the ball, LEGS MUST BE STRONG in that precise moment because that's what the team is all united fighting so hard for. To leave the ball on your strong legs so you can score in any possible way and put the ball in their net where it belongs because LEGS ARE STRONG.

We usually do constant substitutions precisely so those ones on the field are playing at the maximum of their capacity.

If your muscles are not sore for the next days after playing the game you are probably not leaving everything on the court. THE BALL MUST NOT GET into our net goal. And our LEGS MUST BE STRONG TO SCORE and SUPPORT our team members on the court at ALL TIMES.
