The thing most people don’t seem to have time for and matters the most
It’s funny we are given everything we need to feel well. Yet, it’s never enough and we are always chasing the next thing, the next degree, the next higher paid job, the next business opportunity, the next relationship, the next holidays, etc. But rarely we take the time to actually appreciate what we have, to be grateful, to enjoy our present fully without thinking of the past or worrying about the future. Then at some point the challenges appear, suddenly something is taken away from us, our health, our freedom, a beloved person, a pet, a job, etc. And it’s only at that point, in our low points when we finally seem to gain a better perspective of life, appreciate more what was taken from us. And realise all of that we were always chasing was an illusion, and we always had what was needed to feel well, happy, aligned.
